Our large and varied collection of hooks add character and charm to any project or property. An accessory that's both purposeful and decorative. Our hat & coat hook is forged from solid bronze which emphasises the high quality materials and manufacturing techniques used. A perfect design choice for internal doors with many matching products available. Can be used as a single item or grouped together with different styles to create a feature. Match with any products from our best-selling Newbury range for a timeless and cohesive look throughout your home. Supplied with matching SS wood screws.
Polished Bronze is a bright, highly reflective finish with an abundance of character and warmth. This finish really pops when used in contemporary settings with bold colourways, adding visual interest and contrast. Our Polished Bronze is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The finish is first aged, then repolished to create subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and darker patina which gathers around the edges and recesses. To preserve the bright, reflective finish a durable lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing. Bronze will naturally darken over time, however the bright reflective finish can be restored by polishing with a beeswax based furniture polish if desired. Click to learn more about this Finish.
We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. We recommend using a dry cloth, or a beeswax based furniture polish to restore shine as the Bronze will naturally tarnish and darken over. This will help remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks, while offering some protection. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. Click for more Care & Maintenance advice.
