Due to their slim fixing plates, our espagnolettes can be fitted on any type of window including uPVC and timber. Designed to match the products in our Newbury range. The product is handed and therefore care needs to be taken when choosing the correct hand. From the inside view, if your window is hinged on the right then a right-hand fastener is required. They have a 7mm² x 40mm spindle and can be locked by way of a grub screw. Suitable for use with an espagnolette gearbox and window lock. Supplied with matching SS M5 screws.
Polished Bronze is a bright, highly reflective finish with an abundance of character and warmth. This finish really pops when used in contemporary settings with bold colourways, adding visual interest and contrast. Our Polished Bronze is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The finish is first aged, then repolished to create subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and darker patina which gathers around the edges and recesses. To preserve the bright, reflective finish a durable lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing. We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. We recommend using a dry cloth, or a beeswax based furniture polish to restore shine as the Bronze will naturally tarnish and darken over. This will help remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks, while offering some protection. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337).
